    Side facing reveal

    1/2 of mantel inside width “Q” – facing inside width “D”

    Top facing reveal

    mantel inside height “R” – facing inside height “E”

    Shelf height above floor

    mantel height “U” + hearth height “I”

    Hearth width clearance

    1/2 hearth width “F” – mantel footprint “Z”

    Facing width clearance

    facing outside width “A” must be at least 2” less than mantel footprint “Z”

    Facing height clearance

    facing height “B” must be at least 10” less than mantel height “U”

    Shelf side clearance

    measure 1/2 of mantel shelf length “W” from center of facing inside width to determine left and right side clearances
